The Lynne & Howard Halpern Drama Camp is a two-week theatrical extravaganza through which campers will experience every element of the theater—from acting and movement to music and choreography—all while rehearsing for their production of a major musical. The show will be performed for camper family members on the second Friday of the drama camp session. Voted in Gwinnetts Best Summer Camps, from May 27th to August 1st 2025, you can sign up for a single or multiple weeks of our outdoor centered, adventure summer camp. Your kids will enjoy activities such as indoor rock climbing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, river tubing, waterfall hiking, team games at local parks, and a weekly visit to our local water park! Drop off times are 8-9am and pick up times from 4-5pm. We are about 80% full so check us out before space runs out. Ages 8 - 14.

Our popular themed Music Day Camps for Kids strike the perfect balance between a creative, effective music curriculum and some good, old-fashioned fun. In our Day Camp Catalog, there's something for each and every young musician-- beginners or more advanced students, instrumentalists and vocalists-- ages 5 and up, and you'll discover enough variety to keep a single student entertained and growing if you enroll for multiple weeks or even for the full summer camp season. All camps include a weekly private lesson on the instrument of choice. Throughout the week there are small group coaching sessions and time for practice with faculty and peers. Music Day Camp is a great way for students either to start their journey learning to play an age appropriate instrument from a warm and encouraging CMC Atlanta teacher, or to advance their skills and try new experiences like playing with others a small group or learning how to improvise.

In this live online course, we improve our print and cursive handwriting through reading and writing about people and events from American history as well as drawing them. Why drawing? The purpose of this live online course is to spark pre-teen/early teenage students' interest in reading classic books and to teach them to engage in Socratic discussion about themes, characters, plot, etc. Parts of the books will be read aloud; others will be left for the students to read on their own. We will also focus on history related to the stories. Our summer 2025 readings are selections from Homer’s The Iliad and The Odyssey.
