The Alliance Theatre is Atlanta’s national theater, expanding hearts and minds onstage and off. Founded in 1968, the Alliance Theatre is the leading producing theater in the Southeast, reaching more than 165,000 patrons annually. The Alliance delivers powerful programming that challenges adult and youth audiences to think critically and care deeply. Under the leadership of Susan V. Booth, the Jennings Hertz Artistic Director, the Alliance Theatre received the Regional Theatre Tony Award® in recognition of sustained excellence in programming, education and community engagement.

Alliance Theatre Education has programs for ages 0-18. From classes and camps to professional productions especially designed for every age group, families will learn, grow, and create together.

Drama Camps

Take center stage! Spend spring break and summer at the Tony Award-wining Alliance Theatre. With in-person and virtual drama camps for ages 3-18, your young actor will exercise their imagination and unlock their creative potential. Enhanced safety protocols will be in place for in-person camps including masking, social distancing, and increased hand sanitization. 

Youth & Teen Classes

From free story times for infants and toddlers to performance ensembles for teenagers, youth and teens can learn to act on stage and for the camera through Alliance Theatre classes

The Alliance Theatre offers a variety of stage and on camera acting classes for youth, teens, and adults.
