*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 03/16/2024
Calling all insect lovers for a special sensory edition of What’s Happening on the BeltLine: The Wonderful World of Insects. Hear. See. Taste. This event includes a walk outdoors on the Atlanta BeltLine with local experts. Following the walk will be a special presentation and sampling of edible insects! Participants will take a guided walk around the Trees Atlanta campus before coming back inside to warm up and create their very own winter tree “snow” globe to take home.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Plant and insect experts will lead us on a walk of the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum Westside Trail. There's a vast networks of insects living right under our nose in our Atlanta Urban Forest. Learn how trees, insects, and people are all part of the same cycle and what we can do to support the urban forest, insect communities, and human health. This exploration along the Arboretum will challenge you to take a multi-sensory closer look at the interconnected world of these misunderstood organisms.
