Moving in the Spirit is an award-winning creative youth development program that uses dance to help children and teens build the skills they need to thrive. Our curriculum blends high-quality dance instruction in a variety of genres with leadership training and mentor opportunities. Ultimately, students graduate from Moving in the Spirit as confident, resilient, compassionate leaders, poised to succeed beyond the stage and make a difference in their communities.

Our curriculum is based in modern dance and creative movement, with opportunities to study ballet, hip hop, jazz, and West African dance. We accept students ages 3-18, beginner to advanced. Need-based financial aid is available.
