Winter Break Camp - At Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Camps include games, activities, and crafts centered around the theme of each day:
- The Science of Snow: Campers will explore the science of snow! Dive into cool activities learning about the states of matter, experimenting with liquid Nitrogen, and creating instant snow for a frosty day of fun.
- Ice Ages: Journey back to the Ice Ages at camp! Campers will embark on a frozen fossil hunt, learn about ancient creatures, and make their own fossil in an adventure through time!
- Indigenous people's day: Join us for Arctic Indigenous People's Day! Explore Inuit history, play traditional Arctic games, and learn about the rich culture and traditions of Indigenous communities.
Ages: STEAM Camp is available for ages 5-10. Your camper must be within this range by the first day of camp.
Registration: Registration opens Monday, November 4 at 12 noon
Cost: $300 for members; $350 for non-members.
Hours: Fernbank’s Winter Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm.
Pre-Care: Pre-Care is available from 8:15 am to 9:00am and costs $5 per day or $20 for the week. Only full-week Pre-Care registration is available online. Single-day Pre-Care registration will be available on-site during camp.
After-Care: After-Care is available from 4:00pm to 5:30pm and costs $15 per day or $40 for the week. Only full-week After-Care registration is available online. Single-day After-Care registration will be available on-site during camp.
