Wild World Weekend at Atlanta Zoo

Explore the world with Zoo Atlanta during an exciting two-day cultural heritage festival. Experience the dynamic cultures and rich biodiversity that surrounds us. Travel from Africa to the Americas, from Europe to Asia and the Pacific via special entertainment, crafts and activities for the entire family. Help us celebrate our world’s amazing wildlife and the places they call home.

Saturday, July 28:
- Get in the spirit of Bollywood with the mesmerizing Indian Fusion group, Moksha Dance.
- See stories come to life through the music and movements of Alma Mexicana Atlanta.
- Be transported to Indonesia through the beautiful dances of Sanggar Lestari.
- Olé el Flamenco – enjoy an interactive Flamenco presentation with Calo Gitano Atlanta.
- Experience the excitement of traditional African dances with Giwayen Mata.
Sunday, July 29:
- Dance and clap along to the fun, upbeat sounds of Mountain Top Polka Band.
- Enjoy the bright and colorful authentic dances of Rosa Bulgaria Atlanta– an exciting new addition for this year!
- Learn some new steps and be a part of the action with ¡Flamenco! Presented by Berdolé.
- Romp and play with the Lion Dancers, learn Kung Fu and enjoy a special “Dragon Dance” performance with the Chien Hong School of Kung Fu.
- Let your imagination run wild with the music makers, storyweavers, and dream keepers of Kuumba Storytellers.
- Feel the island breeze as you enjoy the melodic sounds of our steel drum performers.
Both days:
- Listen to fun and captivating tales from local storyteller Deborah Strahorn.
- Create your very own Origami and paper crafts with the experts from The Japan-America Society of Georgia.
