Virtual Camp Carlos: Drawn from the Collections

Using prints and drawings from the Carlos Museum’s Works on Paper Collection, teaching artist Pam Beagle-Daresta will introduce students to line and mark-making techniques and lead students in exercises that develop observation and drawing skills as well as deepen their understanding of contour, gesture, form, value, and perspective. In half-day sessions over the course of the week (July 12-16), students will learn the techniques that artists have used throughout history and make a series of drawings that scaffold together to create their own visual story.

Appropriate for ages 8-12
Fee: $150 for Carlos Museum members; $200 for nonmembers
