SHOOT FOR THE STARS WITH TELLUS SCIENCE MUSEUM AT OUR NATIONAL ASTRONOMY DAY STAR PARTY!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
The celebration kicks-off at 5:30 PM with solar viewing in our Observatory and activities in the Museum for astronomers of all ages. Make a mission medallion, design a spaceship/moonbase, grab some fun NASA giveaways, and more.
Once it’s dark, head outside to view objects in the evening sky such as the Moon, Gamma Leo, and the Hercules Globular Cluster. Then, join us at 9:30, 10, and 10:15 PM for star walks on the Museum grounds that will feature a live tour of the night sky.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
