In this workshop, students will learn how to make soap from scratch using the cold-press method.

In this workshop, students will learn how to make soap from scratch using the cold-press method. From a beginner’s level, students will learn about the use of lye solution and lye safety, super fatting, saponifying and the use of essential oils, as well as other natural soap embellishments. Students will choose between the scent Lemon or Lavender to compliment the season with aromatherapy. Create handmade soaps to use around your home for guests, or create personalized gifts. Supplies are provided. For safety protocol, students must wear closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, and pants (legs must be covered).
