What better way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day in Atlanta than arts and crafts, live music, green fireworks and an Irish jig at Atlantic Station’s Shamrock the Station?
Atlanta’s biggest family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebration is Saturday, March 14, from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., (RAIN OR SHINE!) guaranteeing enough fun to fill a pot o’ gold.
Lads and lassies of all ages will find something worth celebrating at this FREE event, including face painting, sand art and cookie decorating with Great American Cookie for the kiddos, and of course there will be a photo booth and ice cold beer from Meehan’s Irish Pub. Plus, DJ Pat O’Brien and Two Pipers and a Snare Drummer will keep spirits alive in Central Park while Mulligan School’s Irish Dancers will show you how to properly step dance.
The fun will continue into the night as The Ruckus hits the Central Park stage at 7:00 p.m. followed by green fireworks to light up the night sky.
Wear something green. Be nice to the gingers. And, don’t miss out on all o’ the fun!
Leprechaun costumes and terrible attempts at Irish accents are entirely optional (but highly encouraged).
