See What's Beneath the Surface - Georgia Aquarium

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 05/09/2026
Some of the most remarkable wild places in North America aren’t oceans or coral reefs — they’re the rivers, streams, and creeks quietly threading through our own backyards. Hidden Rivers brings those ecosystems to life, and Georgia Aquarium is partnering with The Nature Conservancy to bring this film to Atlanta for a free, public screening on Saturday, May 9th. The event runs from noon to 4pm at the Reel Room at Sweetwater Brewing, with two showings at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Come early, stay for both, and spend the afternoon with a community of people who care about the wild places worth protecting. Alongside the screenings, local conservation organizations will be on-site — tabling, talking, and sharing ways to get involved. There will also be door prizes throughout the afternoon.
