Science Explorer Camp: Code Busters
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/17/2026
We’re hosting five days of science adventure at Tellus Science Museum!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
This isn’t your average classroom; it’s a hands-on STEM escape designed to turn curious kids into real scientists during our one-week Explorer Camps. With a different theme to explore each week, every session offers a brand-new discovery.
Roll up your sleeves and sharpen your observation skills as you practice crime scene investigation one week, or master the art of collaboration by creating your own museum exhibit the next. From cracking the code to using creativity to engineer solutions to wild challenges, our junior scientists will tackle different adventures all summer long.
Come help us prove that the most powerful force in the universe is a curious mind!
Code Busters
Explorers will engage in various forms of coding. From binary to ciphers, they will use this new knowledge to help them escape the “Color Crisis” and restore color to the world.
