The underlying intention of "Nature's Generosity" is to encourage viewers to pause and appreciate the often-overlooked wonders of nature. According to Mike Ramy, CEO of the Wilderness Photography Foundation, "The first step to ecological preservation is exposure. After being exposed to nature, it is easier for us to engage with and begin to preserve and appreciate it." This traveling exhibit, organized by the Wilderness Photography Foundation, aims to provide the exposure that Mike Ramy advocates.

Mike founded the Wilderness Photography Foundation (WPF) to promote interest in nature photography and the preservation of natural habitats. This project, a joint effort between Mike Ramy, Julie Newsome, dedicated volunteers, and artists, marks the first public exhibit by WPF and has received rave reviews at the previous gallery locations, including the Fern Bank Science Center and the Jekyll Island Art Association. All original photographs in the collection are available for purchase, along with an eighty-page hardcover Collectors' Edition Tour Book available for purchase at the CAC.
