LUNAR ASTRONOMY WORKSHOP

Advance registration for members only until Friday, September 1, 2023. Registration closes at noon on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 or when the workshop reaches maximum capacity. Advance registration is required; limited space available. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Cancellation policy: 48 hours before for full refund.
Learn how to observe the Moon through telescopes and with the naked eye. Get to know the phases of the Moon in the Bentley Planetarium, visit the Millar Science in Motion gallery to learn how we got to the Moon, and view the Moon through our 20″ reflecting telescope in the Observatory. All participants will receive a lunar chart and instructions on how to use it.
*This workshop will happen rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the Observatory will be limited to tours only. The Observatory is not heated or air-conditioned, so please dress accordingly.
