Junior Astronomy Workshop

Introduce your young scientist to the wonders of astronomy in this popular workshop!

Participants will tour the current night sky in the Bentley Planetarium, receive and learn how to use a rotary star chart, and observe the sky through small telescopes and our 20″ telescope in the Observatory.
*The Observatory is not heated so please dress accordingly. Astronomy workshops will happen rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the Observatory will be limited to tours only.
Advance registration open to members only until December 29, 2023. Registration closes at noon on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 or when the workshop reaches maximum capacity. Advance registration is required; limited space available. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Cancellation policy: 48 hours before for full refund.
