JavaScript is the programming language of the web. It controls everything that happens on a website like pop-ups, animations, warnings, and autocomplete search boxes. Campers will learn how to add JavaScript code to a website and work on several projects. This camp is a perfect introduction to web development, game design, and app design! Camp Week: June 20-24

Suggested Grades: 5 and up / Ages 10-14

Duration: Half Day Camp (M-F) 9AM-11:30AM

Cost $250

Campers will learn how to add JavaScript code to a website and work on several projects including a calculator, multiple-choice quiz program, and a 2D game. This camp is a perfect introduction to web development, game design, and app design. By learning to code with Javascript in a simple and fun way, your child will be taking the first steps towards understanding many of today’s technologies!

Computer Museum of America houses one of the world’s largest collections of digital artifacts and has partnered with STREM HQ to hold summer camps in June and July at the museum.
