Fourth of July Weekend at Lanier Islands

Lanier Islands is supercharging its Fourth of July celebration to extend beyond Independence Day throughout the entire weekend. In addition to three nights of fireworks over the lake, Lanier Islands will offer a wide variety of activities – both on land and water – that run the gamut from live music on the beach and cruises around the lake to splashtacular days at Fins Up Waterpark and restful nights at the resort’s flagship hotel, Legacy Lodge.

In addition to three nights of fireworks over the lake, Lanier Islands will offer a wide variety of activities – both on land and water – that run the gamut from live music on the beach and cruises around the lake to splashtacular days at Fins Up Waterpark and restful nights at the resort’s flagship hotel, Legacy Lodge.
Fourth of July Weekend at Lanier Islands will include:
- Fireworks over Lake Lanier – Thursday, July 4; Friday, July 5; and Saturday, July 6 – shows start at 10 pm
- Fins Up Water Park Open Daily – with the white sands of LandShark Beach, four exhilarating water attractions, and 14 waterslides, including the ALL NEW Apocalypso, Serpentine Storm, Dreamsicle Dive, and Mango Mania
- Live Music at Margaritaville
- Thursday, July 4 - Rick Stone Band on the LandShark stage from 7-10 pm
- Friday, July 5 - Rick Stone Band on the LandShark stage from 7-10 pm
- Saturday, July 6 - Rick Stone Band on the LandShark stage from 7-10 pm
- Dive-In Movie at Margaritaville – Friday, July 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wave Pool
- Margaritaville Cruises
- Saturday, July 6 – Margarita Cruise sets sail at 6 pm
- Sunday, July 7 – Brunch Cruise sets sail at 11 am
- Game Changer Indoor Fun Center Open Daily at Noon – for a great space to cool off with arcade games, virtual sports suites, axe throwing, escape room fun, challenge golf, dining, and MORE. With extended hours to midnight, guests have a place to play while avoiding the post-fireworks traffic
