Fernbank Summer Day Camp

Day Camps include games, activities, and crafts centered around the theme of each day, and the themes repeat each week.

2020 themed activity days include:
- Slowpokes Day— Campers will discover the strange world of Earth’s slowest animals. Activities may include making snail slime and meeting Fernbank’s resident slowpoke: the turtle.
- Fantastic Physics Day—Campers will explore the forces which shape our world and the simple machines humans have made to use forces to our advantage. Activities may include experiencing simple machines in WildWoods and making marshmallow catapults.
- Paleontology Day—Campers will take on the role of paleontologists studying ancient life. Activities may include a mystery animal fossil dig and role playing a game of Mammoth and Smilodon tag.
