Ages 10 - 13
Throughout the week, you’ll dive into adaptive reuse—learning how to creatively repurpose old places for new uses. With hands-on projects, you’ll get to redesign spaces that blend the charm of the past with the needs of today’s communities.
Let’s bring the past to life and create a future full of new possibilities!
Campers will learn to:
-
Learn about adaptive reuse and its role in sustainable development by giving new life to existing structures.
-
Explore successful examples of adaptive reuse projects.
-
Use various materials to create designs that repurpose old buildings or spaces.
-
Use model-making and sketching to bring your adaptive reuse ideas to life.
At the end of the week, parents and caregivers are invited for a showcase of the campers’ creations!
What to Bring:
-
Campers should bring a water bottle, snacks, and lunch.
