Botanical Art: Creating with Nature (Families with Kids ages 5-12)

Calling all kids – and their grown ups – who love connecting with nature and making art! Join artist & art therapy intern Cait Fogerty for Botanical Art: Creating with Nature (Families with Kids ages 5-12) to learn how to create art with flowers, leaves, sticks, stones, and other natural materials. Projects will rotate regularly, ranging from cyanotype printing to stamping with vegetables to hammering flowers to making mobiles with natural treasures and more. This class is open to kids ages 5-12, who must attend with an adult caregiver. Together, we will explore themes of mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interconnectedness with the natural world through the joy of art-making.
