Free Friday Night Hikes

Join us this spring for our popular and FREE Friday Night Hikes! While the Nature Center usually closes at sundown, this spring visitors will have the rare chance to connect with nature after-hours allowing for a completely different sensory experience. Experience a leisurely, family oriented hike that follows the trails around the wetlands and back forests of Dunwoody Park.
Under the light of the stars and armed with flashlights, Nature Center educators will guide groups through the hike, offering a chance to hear the nighttime sounds of owls, bats, and other nocturnal creatures as well as the gentle flow of Wildcat Creek.
Gather around the fireplace before and after your hike and enjoy hot chocolate and a fire.
The evening is free for the entire family but please note that strollers are not recommended along the mulched trails.
Dates for hikes: March 23 and April 20 at 8:00 PM.
