Sensory Morning at Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Join us for a series of special sensory events, designed for guests with sensory sensitivities, special needs or various physical abilities who might benefit from a less-crowded environment. These events will provide a quieter and calmer environment for guests to explore the full museum as well as experience a sensory-friendly movie in the Giant Screen Theater.

Museum Early Access | 9am
Explore less-crowded indoor exhibits and outdoor offerings at your own pace, an hour before our normal opening.
Giant Screen Movie* | 10am
Enjoy a modified screening with brightened lights, lowered volume and no need for 3D glasses. Featured movies vary based on date.

Standard ticket prices apply for Fernbank’s Sensory Mornings. Enjoy both sensory program opportunities with the purchase of a Value Pass ticket (includes museum and giant screen movie admission).
