Forest Therapy Walk Children's Museum of Atlanta

Take a walk on the calm side and let the forest be your therapist. Forest therapy is the practice of Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing, through which participants learn and practice techniques to connect more deeply with nature as a tool for better health.

Forest Therapy follows a gentle pace and is appropriate for all levels. This program will be led by certified Forest Therapy Guide Phyllis Abramson, RN, PhD.

Important: This program is for ages 18 and up and will last approximately 2.5 hours. Program is held rain or shine, but may be cancelled in cases of severe weather. Please be advised that the trail system in Fernbank Forest includes some rough and uneven terrain as well as paved paths with steep grade. 

Cost: $40 per person for members and non-members. Program price does not include Museum admission. Space is limited to 10 people and advanced registration is required. Register online or call 404.929.6400.
