Caboose Days & Steak Cookoff - Southeastern Railway Museum

The Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Georgia, will celebrate cabooses, the crews that called them home and their role on the railroad during Caboose Days. Come celebrate spring and one of the icons of the railroad! Our Caboose Days event is fun for the whole family!

New for 2019, the event will include an SCA sanctioned steak cookoff. To sign up to compete in the Steak Cookoff, please visit the SCA website (https://www.steakcookoffs.com/event-3040798). Please note: steak tasting is limited to competitors - we will have Bills Grills On Wheels On-Site Catering on site providing tasty lunches for purchase!
Local historian Jim Baughman will share his collection of railroad artifacts and stories from his career with Seaboard. Be sure to say hello!
Sunday's event (March 24) will include recognition of SRM Photo contest winners (time TBA).
The museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm; Caboose Days activities will begin around 11 and wrap up around 4.
