Lunch & Learn: What's Hidden Inside Atlanta's Urban Forests
*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 07/12/2018
Atlanta has many forest-dependent amphibian species that are largely unseen, hidden beneath the leaf litter of our trees or in and around ephemeral pools, creeks, and our rivers.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Our guest speaker, Mark Mandica, Executive Director of The Amphibian Foundation, will guide this month's Lunch & Learn conversation about the impacts of tree loss and habitat destruction to the amphibian wildlife of our urban forests.
Come learn about what's hidden in Atlanta's urban forests and see some of these creatures for yourself.
Mark will have live animals with him for us to meet!
