ARTIST TRADING CARDS (AGE 7+)
Join Miles Davis in creating your very own trading cards.
From Pokémon to Star Wars, trading cards are able to capture
your imagination. Create your own characters, cartoons
and more in this Artist Trading Cards class.

NO MORE STICK PEOPLE (AGE 8+)
Students will use a variety of media to create art related to
the body. We will learn about how to draw the face, emotion
in the face, feet, hands, and the figure in motion. This is not
a cartooning class. We will be using drawing and painting
media.

TAKING FLIGHT (AGE 5-7)
Through stories, songs and hands-on activities, students will
learn about Bats, Birds and Bugs. What do they eat? Where
do they live? How do they communicate? Come be part of
this soaring adventure!

PAINT CREATIONS (AGE 8+)
Welcome to a class of all things paint! Students will have the
opportunity to work with a variety of painting media, including
watercolor, watercolor pencils, acrylics, and possibly oil
paints! We will be working from still life, pictures, and our
imaginations!

BLOCK PARTY (AGE 8+)
This class will be all about the process of Printmaking! Students
will experience working with a variety of printmaking
media and learn techniques such as carving, block printing,
and making reproductions of art. While learning this process,
we will also cover the elements of art (color, form, line,
shape, space, texture, and value) to create images from life,
patterns we create and our own imagination!

CREATIVE CARTOONING (AGE 7-12)
Students will be taught how to render basic anatomy for cartoons/comic
books. Previous students will be able to continue
creating their comics, and delve deeper into character
development. It will also expose students to basic character
design so they can create their own characters and give
thought to the interactive designs of their creations.

TAKE A WALK ON “THE WILD SIDE” (AGE 8+)
Hands-on science and art activities will include: Mammal
skull study, endangered species and learning to use a dichotomous
key to identify trees. Come walk on the wild side!

SHOWTIME: ACTING, & MUSIC (AGE 5-7)
A performance class for kids to gain experience performing
and learning about drama, music, choreography, staging and
more! Each session has a different theme culminating in an
exciting Showtime for family and friends!
Fall 1: Medieval Madness Our version of the Renaissance
festival features a variety of comedy and action scenes with
knights, princesses, castles, dragons, pirates, faeries & all
things medieval! Plus we will stage a choreographed pirate
ship battle scene!
Fall 2: Cosmic Comedy Ridiculously funny astronaut and
alien skits, scenes and music from Star Wars, Star Trek, ET
and more! Plus we will perform a choreographed light saber
scene and learn special effects to demonstrate Jedi mind
control and make objects fly!

BRAND NEW BAG OF TRICKS
Welcome to a class where we will be making art in the most
untraditional ways! Covering the fundamentals of color, pattern,
and composition, we will have the opportunity to use
unconventional tools and materials to produce our art. Dripping
paint, making compositions using old toys, building
sculptures--you name! Each students will have a high energy
and enriching experience learning new ways to make art and
the history that inspires it.

MONSTER MASH-UP (AGE 8+)
This is an art class for the monster lovers in all of us! We will
be creating original 2-d and 3-d works of art using a variety
of artistic materials while exploring the world of all things
NOT human! (Mythical creatures, vampires, zombies, etc.)

CALLIGRAPHY CRAZY (AGE 8+)
Learn to write beautiful Calligraphy. Cursive with a flair will
be taught in this basic calligraphy class by Ms. Sandy.
Knowledge of print writing is required.

CHESS! (age 5+)
Chess! The game that strengthens your brain. Now is our time to
learn. Beginners will learn the basics of play and fundamental
strengths and weaknesses of each piece playing pre-chess games.
Intermediate players have fun learning the principles of chess
openings and the endgames with hands on play and continue
down the road to mastery of the game you can play for the rest of

DRAWING A-Z (AGE 6-12)
Students will learn technical drawing skills and techniques
using a wide variety of subject matter, including people, animals,
and still life compositions. We will use graphite, ink,
and color pencils, while emphasizing the importance of gradation
and shading to show dimension and depth.

CHOI KWANG-DO
Learn about respect, courtesy and cooperation while
enjoying a sense of achievement. Along with the physical
and mental aspects of Choi Kwang-Do, each student
will have the opportunity to experience the Korean
culture, customs and terminology from the Korea.
