What was it like flying in the 1940s? Find out inside the world's best restored 21-passenger Douglas DC-3, Ship 41! Ship 41 was the first DC-3 used for Delta passenger service, flying its first flight on Christmas Eve 1940.
On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, we offer a free interior guided tour with normal paid admission to the Museum.
After you buy your admission ticket, meet up at the DC-3 in Hangar 1. Tours begin promptly at 1 pm, and last about 45 minutes. Reservations are not accepted.
This tour requires participants to wear gloves and shoe covers, which will be provided. Tour is not handicap accessible.
