Sculpture and Experimental art

This camp is all about experimentation. What is performance art, and how can we use it to express a vision? Where do artists come up with ideas? What is your big idea, and how can you translate it into a work of art? Campers will experiment with clay, wire, found objects, and wood to create sculptures inspired by works at the High and their own big ideas.

Graphic Design: Logos, Fonts, and Patterns

Art and design are best friends. Explore the relationship between the two by looking closely at overlapping themes in our collection. How do you build a brand? With good design! Campers will look closely at typography and how it is used in art. Students will also use digital media to create a logo inspired by a work of art and learn how to create repeating patterns.
